# Tracking pixel

> See what your contacts do on your website after they click a link of a campaign, and trigger rules from their visits. This page is being written.

> **Documentation coming soon.** This page is being written. The tracking pixel is set up in the Emelia app, under Settings, Add-ons.

The tracking pixel is a short script you add to your website. When a contact clicks a link of a campaign and lands on your site, Emelia links the visit to that contact. Rules then react to what the contact does: time spent, pages viewed, a given page, a return visit.

## Rule webhooks

A rule can call a webhook. As soon as the rule triggers for a contact, Emelia sends a JSON `POST` to the URL of the rule. A rule triggers once per contact.

## What this page will cover

* Installing the pixel on your website.
* Rules: their conditions and their actions.
* The webhook of a rule: its JSON body and how to check its signature.
* The "Website visited" activity in campaigns.
