How Emelia is organised
Three ideas explain most of the API.
- Contacts live in lists, not in campaigns. A campaign reads one or several lists. Add a contact to a list used by a campaign and the contact enters the campaign, without touching the campaign.
- Every campaign is multichannel. The steps of a campaign decide what it does: emails only, LinkedIn actions only, or both, plus WhatsApp and manual tasks. There is one way to create a campaign, whatever the channels.
- Enrichment is asynchronous. Finding an email or a phone number starts a job. You get a
jobIdat once and read the result when the job is done.
